What can I get you?

Welcome to a brand new line of dice by Legendary Pants! To celebrate, we've got an open bar of amazing dice, all inspired by a rich nightlife of drinks!

These dice are sets of 11 (1d4, 4d6, 1d8, 1d10, 1d%, 1d12, 2d20).

We'll open the bar with a standard service of red and white wines and a celebratory champagne. As more people partake, we'll start breaking out the fancier reserves and liven up the party!

Standard Service

Red Wine

A nice dry red, what could be better? These dice are acrylic with a dark red translucency to them, with numbers inked in a brilliant silver. Simple, elegant, and effective, like the drink that inspired them.

Vinho Verde

Instead of the classic white, we are offering a delectable Vinho Verde as a cool, refreshing alternative to the red. Acryllic dice with a high, light green translucence accented by green inked numbers. A fine accompaniment to any occasion!

Bottle Green

Remember to keep the bottle as a souvenir! These acryllic dice are the color of the green glass in which so many of our best wines have aged. The golden numbers offer a deep contrast and beautiful accent.

Champagne

No celebration would be complete without a glass of the bubbly! Of course, these dice don't come from the Champagne region of France, so they're really just ordinary Sparkling White Dice. A suspension of fine glitter in these lightly colored acrylic dice give them an effervescence that you can almost taste!

A note about the fonts in the images

When we had samples of some of the colors produced, our molds had not been finished yet. So, the factory used their standard mold, just to make sure our colors would work to our liking.

As the molds finished, we got the rest of the colors made in those molds, just to make sure everything was working out how we envisioned. They looked great (yay!), but it was too costly to redo all of the samples in the new molds.

Rather than digitally mockup the ones that are in the factory's standard mold, we decided that real pictures of those dice would be better. That way our customers can see exactly what colors the dice will be without the uncertainty of digital touchup.

Stretch Goals

  • Something for Everyone unlocks at $ 30,000

With so many guests, we need to make sure we have a non-alcoholic offering, and plenty of ice to keep everything chill.

    Shirley Temple

A classic treat with all the class of a fancy cocktail, but none of the next-day reminders. Sweet and vibrant, these dice are resin and feature a bright swirl of red and white with black inking in the numbers. Great for all ages!

    Ice p20

What's an open bar without the ice? We had these glacial d20s crafted just for this special occasion! They've got a pants instead of the 20, so we call them p20s! And guess what? Every backer will receive a pair of p20s absolutely free! We're only going to run a single line in this color for this campaign, so enjoy!

  • Drawing Room unlocks at $ 40,000

Now that this party is bumping, it's getting a little noisy. Let's open up the drawing room so people can find a quiet space to sip something and relax.

    Pink Lemonade

Sometimes we need a drink that reminds us of slow days at home, and nothing fits that bill quite like lemonade! These acrylic dice are pink with a suspension of glitter, and they feature a fine gold ink to give them a comfortable, soft feel.

    Bourbon

Our resident curmudgeon, Chief, is back with his favorite drink: bourbon. "I've been drinking bourbon for a long time, it's always been my alcohol of choice. Bourbon is friendly, mellow, and comfortable, like a pair of well broken-in sneakers. And it's a classy drink. When people see you with a glass of bourbon in their hand, they know that you're thoughtful, confident, capable, and probably a lot of fun. And that's just what I wanted these dice to say about the player that throws them." They are a semi-translucent acryllic with black inked numbers.

  • Top Shelf unlocks at $ 50,000

Well, now that all the riff raff has filled up on the cheap stuff, it's time to bring a couple bottles down from the top shelf!

    Rosé

Wine is nice, but can we get it a little sweeter? Of course we can! A nice rosé, perhaps? We've got just the thing! These acryllic dice are a light pink with a glitter suspension and an absolute dream to roll. They're inked in silver.

    Absinthe

Ready for a splash of danger? A lot of legends are told of this dastardly green liquor, and most of them are totally false. You know what's true, though? That the stuff looks wicked, and so do these dice. A vibrant green resin with a suspension of fine glitter comes to life when paired with dark green inked numbers. These dice are sure to raise some eyebrows!

  • Drinker's Choice unlocks at $ 60,000

For our more discerning guests, we now offer a somewhat more ecclectic selection.

    Mead

A sweet, heady wine from honey is sure to hit the spot! These acryllic dice are a deep amber color, with a cool black ink on the numbers. Careful, though. Despite their delicious appearence, they are not edible.

    Gin & Tonic

Ecclectic may not be the right word to describe the classic Gin & Tonic, but it's certainly a fan favorite in our bar. Highly translucent resin dice with swirls of light green and white reflect the tumult inside the glass of a perfectly crafted G&T. We inked the numbers in lime-rind green for a little bit of extra pop. Exquisite!

  • Behind the Counter unlocks at $ 70,000

Alright, we were saving this last bottle for something really special. This party certainly counts!

    Golden Schnapps

An occasion this special calls for something just as showy as the party itself. We've got a bottle of cinnamon schnapps saved behind the counter, here. With a little shake, you can see all the gold flakes floating about in there. Tastless gold, so you know we're on the next level of fancy. These perfectly clear resin dice have gold-colored foil suspended throughout, giving them a unique appearence. We inked the numbers in a cinnamon red for high visibility, so you'll never have to squint too hard when using your fancy, fancy dice. Welcome to the party!

Pledge Reward Levels

Add-Ons

Additional sets of any unlocked colors will be available as add-ons! Each additional set will cost $14, regardless of pledge level.

Ordering Stretch Goal Colors

We have indicated which colors are unlocked via stretch goals when you choose your colors. Here's how that works:

For sets that come as part of your pledge, you may select colors that have not yet been unlocked yet. Hopefully, all of the colors will get unlocked over the course of the campaign, and you'll be just fine! However, if one of your color choices does not get unlocked, we will offer you either a refund for that set, or getting a different color of your choice. We'll reach out at the end of the campaign for your preference, and we'll default to a refund if we can't get a hold of you.

For add-on sets, you will only be able to select from the colors that have been unlocked. Don't worry, though! Add-ons will be available through the end of the campaign and for several weeks after. Since we're doing flat-rate shipping, adding dice on to your order will be a cinch!

Flat Rate Shipping

We're using flat shipping rates for this campaign. Our fulfillment partner, Fulfillrite, is based out of New Jersey, USA. Because everything is coming from the States, customers abroad are responsible for potential local VAT or customs charges. The map below summarizes our shipping fee schedule: $6 for the USA, $9 for North American and European customers, $12 for everywhere else. All amounts are in USD.

Risks and Uncertainty

This is our fourth crowdsourcing campaign for dice, so we've got a pretty good handle on it. We've worked with our factory in China for years now, and have a good idea of what to expect and what problems might crop up. We have samples of all the dice, and we ordered a production-level run in the new molds (our Cosmic Trial dice), which came out beautifully. We're old hands at this, as far as small indie dice companies go, so we're confident that we'll handle this one just as well.

If anything does crop up, we'll be sure to let you know immediately, and do our best to solve the problem with as little inconvenience to you as possible. We at Legendary Pants take our customers very seriously, and we want to make them happy! We have a no-questions-asked refund policy. If you're ever unhappy with our service or our products, we'll gladly refund your money.

Photography

The gorgeous product photos featured in this campaign were styled and shot by Kathleen Kersnick, a Pittsburgh-based photographer trained in both analog and digital media. You can see more of her work on her website and Instagram.

FAQs

Some of the colors are acrylic and others are resin.

Acrylic: Absinthe, Bourbon, Champagne, Meade, Red Wine, Vinho Verde, Wine Bottle Green, Pink Lemonade, Rose

Resin: Gin and Tonic, Shirley Temple, Golden Schnapps

Each set has 11 dice of the following sizes:

1d4, 4d6, 1d8, 1d10, 1d%, 1d12, 2d20

Unfortunately, no. Our mold only makes 11-piece sets, so that's how we package and ship them.

No, the d20s included with the sets only have numbers, including a 20.

Our factory is in China, just outside of Hong Kong. They've been making dice and other game components for years, and are pretty dang good at it.

Since we are using flat-rate shipping costs, the weight of an order doesn't affect the shipping price. We used 50 pounds as the weight for the free shipping on the higher pledges so that the system can flag the orders which receive free shipping automatically.

Incidentally, if you buy enough dice to actually get an order up to 50 pounds, it'll be free shipping, too! But, that's 400 sets of dice, and we'd be happy to provide free shipping on an order that awesome!
